Our story is simple. Having grown-up in the charming town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, famed for having some of the tastiest eats in its region, we wanted to bring delicious Mexican street food to Vancouver, our home now for more than 20 years.

Tacomio means “my taco”, which refers to our pride and commitment towards authentic and fresh Mexican cuisine.

We run everything as a family. Our recipes stem from the expertise my brother Fhernando gained through a career at one of Vancouver’s most reputable restaurants, combined with our mama’s beloved recipe wisdom.

Just like our story, we keep our food simple, and take pride in what we cook and serve. At Tacomio, we use many cooking techniques, bringing traditional and modern cuisine together. Our tacos have attitude! They feature layers of flavours and textures, and we garnish each taco with a variety of fun and exciting toppings.

At Tacomio, we’re dedicated to our community, and won’t settle for anything less than providing our customers – who often become our friends – with an authentic Mexican flavour. We use fresh, natural and sustainable ingredients, which we source locally, seasonally, and organically, whenever possible.
